I’m Ed, a freelance drummer based in the south east of the UK. I’m passionate about drums and all things drumming, and love to play and teach in my local area and beyond. I also enjoy finding other ways to share my love of drumming with others, which you will hopefully pick up on as you look through my site!

I started drumming aged 11, when my parents got me a drum kit for Christmas. Instantly I fell in love with the instrument, and it didn’t take me long to figure out it was what I wanted to do with my life! From then on, I continued to pour my efforts into my drumming and today I’m fortunate enough to be able to do it for a living. 

Beyond the music, I’m husband to my wonderful wife, Kathryn, and Dad to our little boy. When I’m not drumming, I enjoy time spent with them, eating good food (often Kathryn’s!), drinking good coffee and whisky, and fussing over every dog in sight!
