I’m Ed, a freelance drummer based in the south east of the UK. I’m passionate about drums and all things drumming, and I love sharing that passion with others. I spend most of my time doing that by making music with others or by teaching, but I’m always keen to find other ways to share and pass on my love of drumming too, and enjoy seeing where the instrument continues to take me.

I started drumming aged 11 when my parents got me a drum kit for Christmas, but I’d been fortunate to grow up surrounded by music before that too. I instantly fell in love with the drums, and it didn’t take me long to figure out that it was what I wanted to do from then on! Ever since, I continued to pour my efforts into taking my drumming as far as I could, and I consider myself very fortunate to now be surrounded by drums every day, whatever I might be doing with them!

Beyond the drumming, I’m husband to my wonderful wife and dad to our brilliant boy (who I also love sharing music with!), and we can often be found frequenting the kids attractions of our local area or trying to find the best coffee shops around!
