While my time mostly consists of the playing and teaching, there are also some other areas which contribute to my work, including drum-tech’ing and transcribing drum parts.

With the drum-tech’ing, I have worked on festivals to ensure that the drums and drummers are well taken care of. As a self proclaimed gear-nut, I’ve always enjoying paying attention to all the details - however small - of how different drummers feel most comfortable at their kits, both in terms of sound and setup. Through this attention to detail, I am pleased to say that all the drummers I’ve worked with in this area have been very pleased with what I’ve been able to offer, and it’s been another wonderful way to share my love of the instrument with other players.

With the transcribing, I am able to write either note for note copies, or provide more brief charts just to “get through the gig”. Either way, I spend much of my time writing both of these sorts of drum parts for my own use, so I am also able to provide them for others to use too.

While these are two areas that I already work in as and when required, in short, if there are any other services that require the skills of a drummer, please feel free to get in touch to see if it’s something I might be able to help out with! As always, if I feel it’s not something that I am best suited to, I would be glad to point you in the direction of someone else who is.
