Monthly Roundup #6 - August '18

August has been another slightly quieter month for me where I've been able to enjoy a bit of time off over the summer. The school summer holidays put most of the teaching to a stop, and if I'm honest, I haven't actually had loads of gigs through August - which is funny as it's usually a very busy time of year for me! But as I say, it's been quite a welcome break where I've been able to fit in a few days away on holiday and made the most of enjoying some down-time, which has been very nice indeed!

Monthly Roundup #5 - July '18

July is where things have settled down a bit for me after a hectic few months, so I've been taking the opportunity to get back on top of some things, get some practice in, enjoy the sunshine and most importantly spend some more time with my wonderful wife! The school drum lessons obviously slowed down and came to an end for the summer holidays, but I'm able to keep a bit of teaching going through the summer by hiring a local rehearsal studio to do some lessons from. There's been a handful of gigs, but nothing crazy! Here's what I've been up to...

Monthly Roundup #4 - June '18

Hello once again! June has been another busy and varied month, with a wide variety of gigs going on - there's been jazz gigs, concerts with a local choir, church stuff, a night of theatre-ish stuff (I'll explain!), original gigs and a tribute band - each of which were gigs which required all their own prep on top of 5 days a week of teaching for most of the month. Like I said, busy!!
