Read MoreI suppose I’ll be a month behind by the time anyone’s reading this, but happy new year! After having a lovely bit of time off over Christmas and the new year, it’s been nice to get back into the swing of things. There was of course the usual teaching (with which I started at a new school), a couple of nice gigs, and some other things looming on the horizon for February which required some preparation.

December started with a pretty busy week, but then settled down a bit from there which allowed me to chill out and enjoy the holiday season for myself! I usually take on gigs around Christmas and the New Year, but this year I treated myself (and my wife!) to a bit of time off, which was very nice indeed!

Read MoreOctober was slightly quieter on the gig-front, but that worked quite nicely for me as it gave me some time to prepare for a busy start to November! I had a couple of gigs early on in the month, alongside the usual teaching.
